Jesus, lamb of God
Worthy is your name.

Alright, let’s jump into the FIRST PART of today’s session — the THREE CORE HYPOTHESIS FRAMEWORKS. <#0.5#> And the first “axe” is this: HOW TO DO ADDITION.<#0.5#>
Now, what do I mean by “addition”? <#0.5#> Here’s the idea. <#0.5#> Those of you who’ve been running BUSINESSES for a while — do you agree with this statement? <#0.5#> The FIRST BASIC SKILL of any OPERATOR is the ability to BREAK DOWN a business.<#0.5#>
In other words, once you’re in charge of something, you MUST be able to DECONSTRUCT it. <#0.5#> Because if you can’t even break it down properly, then MOST of the decisions you make later are, in all likelihood, NOT going to be very high quality. <#0.5#>
So — how DO you break down a business? <#0.5#> BREAKDOWN SKILLS are CRUCIAL. You have to train yourself to keep asking the KEY QUESTIONS. You need to break a business down into a set of EXTREMELY CRITICAL, SUCCESS-OR-FAILURE LOGIC POINTS. <#0.5#> Ideally, they should be COMPLETE, and you should know the SEQUENCE or DEPENDENCIES between them — so that they can guide you in making the BIG DECISIONS.<#0.5#>
Decisions like: Should I go FULL-TIME on this? Should I bring on a PARTNER? Should I EXPAND? Should I BURN CASH? Should I RAISE FUNDING? <#0.5#> These complex BUSINESS DECISIONS — can we make them based on this kind of logical breakdown? Yes, we CAN.<#0.5#>
